Looking back…

Bryton Looking Back

Have you ever taken the time to examine the routine functions you preform everyday?  For example, putting on your shoes, driving your car, unlocking the front door.  It blows me away when I see how so many things that seem so regular now were not easy awhile ago.  Same goes for photography and while I don’t think it’s as natural as something that I’ve been doing since I was a toddler, it’s fun for me to look back and see where I’ve come from.  I thought it would be a fitting post to start my blog, so here is a quick look back at some of the first images where I began to use off camera flash. I’ve combined a few shots that I used with the basic set up that I started out with.  I must say, I’m so glad that people are patient and that I’ve had the time to continue to work and improve my technique, but to some extent I love some of these images because they were born out of a need to create something that was still raw to me.  My goal is to always challenge myself and well…I’m excited to see where I’m going and thanks for looking back with me.

Nikon SB 600 set to slave

Nikon D70 Set as the Master
